How to Change the Size of Control Panel Icons (View Style)

In Old operating systems like Windows XP, if we open control panel, we can see all icons as an average size. We can find all control options in that control panel window. But in new operating systems like Windows Vista, 7 or 8, if we open control panel, we cannot see all control panel icons or options like Windows XP. Here all options are categorized. So we have to expand these categories to find hidden options like ‘mouse settings’.
If you want to get your control panel icons like XP, you have to do this simple step.

Ø Open ‘Control Panel’.
Ø Look at right top of your control panel. You can see an option named ‘View by’ with ‘Category’ as selected.
Ø Click it. Then you can see another two options: Large icons and Small icons.

Ø Select one of them. If you select ‘Large icons’, then you can see your control panel icons as large. If you select ‘Small icons’, then you can see your control panel icons as Large like Windows XP.
