Solve No Device Drivers were Found with Windows Installation Error

Tip Abstraction:
This is a troubleshoot which solves a upcoming windows 7 installation error especially with USB installation.
Recently I bought a new Asus Laptop. My own laptop was one of my dreams and finally I bought it. After the delivery I tried to install Windows 7 via USB drive. But I got this error while installation.

A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.

Note: If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step.
- With three buttons of ‘Browse’, ‘OK’ and ‘Cancel’.

A required CD DVD drive device driver is missing Windows 7

When I click on ‘OK’ button, then I got this message:

No device drivers were found Windows 7 USB error solution

I have a lot of experience with Windows installation, but I faced this error as first time. I tried many techniques to solve this issue like reinstalling after remaking of bootable USB, because I thought this may be due to corrupted setup files. But each method was failed and I became sad.
I thought that may be due to my Hard Disc Error.
I searched on internet and I found many solutions.
 Some of them are:

  • Remaking of bootable Pen drive.
  • Verify the Bootable ISO file is not corrupted.
  • Use different software to make bootable like PowerISO
  • Changing the USB port from USB  3.0 to USB 2.0.

I tried almost solutions; unfortunately I couldn’t find any working solution.

Now my Laptop works well.. I solved the issue..!!.
How Could I solve? Do you want to know?

I again and again read the error message, which says the installation set up need some device drivers and which is not available on the system.
First of all, you have to understand that this error is NOT due to your hard disc problem. While installing an operation system that will automatically detects our computer’s devices like hard disc, mouse, keyboard etc. Here your computer needs some device drivers to detect and woks with them. That is the problem behind this error.

I checked the laptop kit for device drivers CD, and I inserted to the drive (CD drive is free, because I use USB port for installation). But I faced same issue. Then I checked the CD cover, and then I found that the driver CD supports Windows 10 of 64bit only.

Unfortunately Windows 10 ISO file was not available on my desktop PC. After getting the Windows 10 64bit, I could install successfully on my laptop.

So let us conclude the solution:

  • This error is familiar with new laptops which do not support Windows 7. So try to install Windows 8, 8.1 or Windows 10 (recommended) at first time. You might to install Windows 7 later.
  • If you still getting this issue with Windows 10, then try to install with putting the device driver CD on the CD drive and ensure the Windows installation is 64 bit (not 32/86bits).

I hope these solutions will work with you… 
